Organizational help! HELP!

We moved to our new office.... I have some shelves etc.

And a desk, but I'm at a brick wall here... if you have any tips or help please feel free to comment :)

I need this to be my craft space too.. hence the table.

I'm trying to keep the desk to office supplies only.

this is where I'm trying to keep my ratty books that I use and my other supplies and inventory....

  1. Wish I could help but I'm in a similar predicament most of the time. I have shelves on the walls above my work tables and on the shelves, depending on the station, I have the organizers for my: office supplies and shipping, for my jewelry and project making and for my clay work and finish work.

I have a variety of the photo storage boxes, tackle boxes and plastic shoe boxes. All have labels. The bookcase has the mini organizers that double as my show displays, my office references and baskets with labels.

And there is a shop rack in the closet with my ugly supplies: boxes of clay, sandpaper, tools that are not used frequently.

  2. there are three drawer plastic organizers that would be helpful for your's what my gma does and she's a master organizer

she'll get, for instance, a 6" x 6" short square basket (or larger...or more rectangular etc) inside that she would have all the smaller boxes or clear jars (with no lids) all put together like a little puzzle inside the other basket. one for paper clips, white out, screws, xtra teeth, etc. LOL just kidding (love you grandma) and as i write this i realize it might sound mighty stupid considering all the fancy organizational stuff that's out there but hey i've already typed it all. :) (also, shadow boxes with multiple little spots to stash stuff are an interesting way to organize little stuff too)

    good luck!

  3. a printers drawer/shadow box unit would be really awesome right now!

I would like it to store my extra teeth ;)

  4. My advice would be get your Mom to come over.

  5. Looks better than mine when it IS organized!
